  • DO YOU HAVE TO BE ITALIAN TO BE BURIED IN THE ITALIAN CEMETERY?
    The Italian Cemetery has served all faiths and nationalities since our founding in 1899
  • WHY SHOULD I BUY A PROPERTY NOW WHEN I AM IN GOOD HEALTH?
    There are several good reasons to make a pre-need arrangement. This type of purchase should not be left until the last moment. Making the arrangement now means that you choose exactly what you want for yourself. Planning now will lock in today’s prices and protect you from future price increases. Once you make a pre-need arrangement with us, there will be no other charges at the time that the services and products will be needed
  • DO ALL CHARGES HAVE TO BE PAID IN FULL BY THE TIME OF THE BURIAL?
    If you have purchased property and you are making monthly payments and a death occurs, you may continue to make payments as per contract terms.
  • WHAT OTHER PRODUCTS AND SERVICES DOES THE ITALIAN CEMETERY PROVIDE?
    A wide selection of upright monuments, flat bronze memorials, and portrait medallions. Cleaning and restoration services that can make an old monument look new. Inscriptions on any and all existing monuments. Refinishing service for outdoor nameplates to remove oxidization and restore them to their original luster.
  • IS IT TRUE THAT CEMETERY ARRANGEMENTS ARE ONLY VALID FOR ONLY 100 YEARS?
    No. There are no time limits.
  • CAN I RESEARCH MY FAMILY HISTORY AND GENEALOGY AT THE ITALIAN CEMETERY?
    Yes. We have documentation going back to 1899. For extensive research there is a nominal fee. We also offer periodic Italian genealogy workshops for those researching their family history.

The Italian Cemetery was founded in 1899 by La Società Italiana di Mutua Beneficenza, which is the oldest, continuously-existing, Italian-American organization in the United States, established in 1858.
